From Static to Dynamic; Broadcast to Personalisation
With the development of Internet technology has come the rise of Cezanne like information structures on websites. Web pages need not be ‘static’, 'broadcast content' served to a random visitor of thousands who may arrive at a site. A site can now have many faces, varying content and functionality relevant to each unique visitor to the site.

If a website can know who it is talking to (through log in) then a database reference can be made of and for that person. The person can be profiled and can set preferences of the kind of information they require when coming to the site. Spaces can be created where real, ongoing, one to one conversations and messaging can take place.

There will no longer be just one static website but unique content served up in visually and conceptually Branded environments. Personalised content and functionality in the designed shell of a web page.

Customer service, reassurance and relevant cross selling or up selling can then occur. Relationships can be nurtured in a trusting environment created around a unique person.
