In stations and on trains running along the Piccadilly line the full list of stations that exist on the Piccadilly Line are represented outside of the context of the full Underground map.
Imagine this to be like showing the navigation options available to people on a site when in sub sections. This serves to increase a person's sense of confidence as they move through a system as well as re-affirming the options available as one moves forward in a journey.
